For personal reasons I hope they manage to fuck up on the last day and bomb out of the play offs.

Not over him yet?

If they were (still) BIG clubs then they would (still) be in the Premier League. They're not so they aren't.

They WERE, no denying that, but they're NOT now, no matter how loudly YOU shout that they are.

What a fucking stupid comment. They were both big clubs long after the 60's. In fact they are both much bigger clubs than some of the shit in the Prem these days.
If you were growing up in the 60's you clearly haven't learnt much since then.

Fulham are on a roll, would like to see another southern team come up and a boat trip!

Re: Brighton
Mike - they are still big clubs.

To me, they add more value to the PL, and two top away days in Yorkshire which I have a soft spot for, though obviously only one will make it. I chose Wednesday, if only to annoy the other 'erberts when we are in town.

Re: Brighton
Leeds (& Wednesday) were big when I was growing up in the 60s - doesn't mean they should (still) be big today or ever again.

Re: Brighton
Hughton is a good manager and they are well organised.
Can't see them buying a lot but maybe going like someone like Burnley and adding two or three £10m types.
Will come down to whether Glenn Murray and Sam Baldock can score enough goals and how Knockaert gets on at a higher level.

Coventry relegated to League 2.
First time in 4th tier since 1959

It'll be good to see them in there, but I can't see them fairing that well next season. I hope Leeds or Wednesday join the party.

Re: Brighton
There's only a gulf because of the money involved. Brighton will have a few quid to spend. It'll be good to see them in the prem.

Brighton is good.

I like Brighton.

Re: Brighton
Straight back down next season. Great effort, but shows the gulf between the two divisions. Newcastle have a fighting chance, but not if we pinch their manager.

Re: Brighton
Will be promoted on Monday at home to Wigan
Need a maximum of 3 points in their last 4 games

Zola has now won 2 out of 23 at Birmingham and has them only 4 points outside the relegation zone with 4 to play.
Drew with Rotherham today who have 18 pts from 42 games with a GD of minus 58.
